Dr Nathan Pfleger

Dr. Nathan Pfleger brings together decades of scientific expertise and a passion for imaginative storytelling. With an accomplished career spanning private industry, the U.S. Navy, the U.S. Air Force, the Department of Defense, and the Department of Homeland Security, he has spent his professional life solving complex engineering challenges and advancing technical innovation.
Holding four university degrees, including a Ph.D. in Engineering Sciences, Dr. Pfleger has authored four technical books, contributed numerous chapters to engineering publications, and written more than 400 technical reports, research papers, and manuscripts. His expertise has earned him invitations to deliver keynote presentations at technical conferences and symposiums around the world.

For fictional and science-fiction publishing, William Simpson writes under the pen name Nathan Pfleger. Technical and professional publications continue to be published under his own name.
